Archadenia Music Academy is excited to announce our FIRST ever music competition.

How to Register

We have 3 categories :

Category A 7-10 years old : 1 piece with a maximum of 3 minutes.

Category B 11-14 years old : 1 piece with a maximum of 3 minutes.

Category C (Open) 15 years old and above/any age group (open) : 1 piece with a maximum of 5 minutes.

Registration Fee :

Early bird registration is NOW CLOSED.

$60 entry fee.

Last Day of registration is 2nd June 2023.

Total Prize :

1st prize: $320 + trophy
2nd prize: $260 + trophy
3rd prize: $200 + trophy

Marking Criteria and Rules

All Participant will be marked based on the performance on the day including technique and presentation.
All Participant must abide by the rules and regulation of event.
Archadenia Music Academy reserved the right to postpone, change or cancel the event. If in any cases the event has to be canceled, your fee will be refunded.
There is no refund of the entry fee If you withdraw for any personal reason (including, but not limited to, medical reasons).
Archadenia Music Academy shall not be liable for any injury sustained by the participant during the event.
Archadenia Music Academy reserved the rights to use the images and recordings of the event without having to pay fees and/or royalties.
All winners must attend the prize giving ceremony and accept the prize in person, unless you are currently out of state/overseas or have an emergency. Prizes will not be given to winner who is absent from the ceremony.

Adjudicators

Rochelle Fuller

Australian bassist and Educator Rochelle Fuller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary
Music and has over 20 years experience as a performer and specialist electric bass guitar
teacher. She has toured with artists such as Grace Knight from The Eurogliders and has also
supported bands such as The Baby Animals, Mental As Anything, Icehouse, The Radiators and
Legends Of The Mississippi Delta. Rochelle was also given an endorsement by Trace Elliot
amplifiers. Rochelle has worked accompanying students for their exams as well as HSC. Rochelle has also worked as a Rockschool examiner in Australia since 2016.

Evangeline Horton

Evie is a vocal and piano tutor with a deep love for music and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. With over 10 years experience, her ultimate goal is to inspire students and equip them with the necessary skills and confidence to pursue their own unique musical journeys. Evie is currently studying to obtain a Masters of Education, which will allow her to take her passion, patience, and personalised approach to learning into the classroom.
