B. Mus Performance
Tom is a jazz and contemporary drummer currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Tom has performed with the Arts Unit Jazz Orchestra, and played in a variety of rock ensembles, earning an Encore nomination for HSC Music 2.
In recent years, Tom was selected as a finalist in the Generations in Jazz Instrumental Scholarship and furthered his studies with internationally renowned musicians at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and in New York City. As an active performer, he has appeared with a wide range of jazz, rock, and pop groups across Sydney, performing at iconic venues including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, and Qudos Bank Arena.
Alongside his performing career, Tom is passionate about music education and has extensive experience teaching private students, as well as leading workshops and band camps across Sydney. He is dedicated to inspiring young musicians and helping students develop both confidence and a lifelong passion for music.
